The Falcon Lakes community opposes the planned rezoning application PR2-002-24 and/or associated applications (including Preliminary Development Plan PPDP-001-24) commonly known as Zarda at Falcon Lakes. This proposed development does not adequately address the concerns of homeowners in the area. There is potential for significant burden on already stretched schools, law enforcement, and city resources. Higher traffic volumes will result in congestion, delays, and accidents. Commercial components with broad uses under the zoning designation increase the potential for crime, litter, noise and flooding. Moreover, the lack of design aesthetic and quality does not match the image and standards that Falcon Lakes represents. We are urging the decision makers to reconsider this application, to preserve the integrity and quality of life in our community.
