Part of me wants Eastons face to be remembered on that "just in" case mindset if he was ever to be released on a bond. However I want Elliot's face to be the one that stays in for forefront. The face that everyone sees when they hear the name Easton Vance. The face everyone sees anytime the case is mentioned. The face you remember before you pray at night and remembering his family that didn't need to endure this loss. We are supposed to protect all children, at all costs. You see I didn't say "your child", "my child" (I don't have). We're supposed protect ALL!
I think of how Elliot had began to walk, probably just a few short months before his life was lost. I wonder how many words he's learned. I never laid eyes on this sweet boy, but I can just see him waving those sweet chunky hands bye bye. I can see all that he will miss because of Easton's actions. Remember his face for the cause!
Justice for Elliot and keep Easton Vance in his cell
