Deny Donald J. Trump/MAGA Entry into Canada for the G7 Summit in 2025

PETITION TO DENY DONALD TRUMP ENTRY INTO CANADA FOR THE G7 SUMMIT IN JUNE 2025

To: The Government of Canada, The Honourable Marc Miller (Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship), The Honourable Dominic LeBlanc (Minister of Public Safety), and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau

We, the undersigned, call on the Government of Canada to deny entry to Donald J. Trump for the upcoming G7 Summit in Alberta in June 2025. Given Trump’s criminal record, history of inciting violence, and refusal to pay security costs associated with his events, allowing him entry would be inconsistent with Canadian laws and values.

Reasons for This Petition:
Trump is a Convicted Felon

Canada routinely denies entry to convicted criminals. Trump has been found guilty of multiple felony charges, making him inadmissible under standard immigration policies.

History of Fraud and Corruption

Trump has been found liable for financial fraud, tax evasion, and business misconduct, undermining the integrity of international diplomacy.
Incitement of Violence and Security Threat

Trump played a key role in encouraging the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol and continues to use inflammatory rhetoric that fuels division and extremism. His presence could provoke protests and counter-protests, endangering Canadian citizens.

Unpaid Security Bills

Trump has a record of leaving cities in financial distress by refusing to pay for the additional security his visits require. Canada should not be burdened with the cost of hosting him.

Harm to Canada-U.S. Relations

Trump has repeatedly insulted Canadian leadership, imposed harmful tariffs on Canadian industries, and undermined key diplomatic agreements. Allowing him to attend the G7 would only serve to disrupt productive discussions.

Climate Change Denial and Anti-Global Policies

Trump has actively worked against international climate change initiatives, including withdrawing the U.S. from the Paris Agreement. His presence contradicts Canada’s commitments to global cooperation on environmental issues.

Our Demand:
We urge the Canadian government to uphold its immigration laws and deny Donald Trump entry to Canada, just as it would for any other foreign national with a criminal record and history of unethical behavior. His participation in the G7 is not essential and would be counterproductive to the principles of international cooperation.

By signing this petition, we affirm that Trump’s presence in Canada is not welcome and request immediate action to prevent his entry.
