For too long, Denver's schools have suffered from the inequality created by charter schools, a lack of classroom resources and unreasonable class sizes, the irresponsible management of public school funding. Resolving these issues should be the primary focus of Denver's Board of Education.

Most critical to our public schools positive growth are addressing the achievement gap by providing excellent education for all and providing our classrooms with the teachers and resources so they can again flourish as places where our children learn in rich environments designed to meet their individual needs.

To achieve these goals, Denver's school board must review the policies and leadership governing the district and our schools to determine if the current environment supports creating the schools we all deserve.
