The Denver Post is trying to pass off an entire fake news section, "Energy & Environment", written and paid for by the oil and gas industry, as real news on fracking.  While newspapers have long run advertisements and banner ads, the Denver Post now clones everything on the page to look identical to the paper's real articles.

This 'new journalism' is an assault on both democracy and our long-coveted "Fourth Estate".  To compound their ergregious behavior, online public comments are prohibited on the industry's paid placements.

Coloradans covet our natural environment; transparency and disclosure are paramount in establishing a well-regulated industry.  Please sign the petition and demand that our state's largest newspaper end its acquiessence in this charade of propoganda masked as news.
