In June of 2021, with great excitement, Demaryius Thomas announced his retirement from the National Football League as a Denver Broncos wide receiver. On behalf of myself and the countless other Demaryius Thomas fans, friends, family members, and supporters, we call upon the Denver Broncos organization, Mr. Joe Ellis, Denver Broncos President /CEO, and Mr. George Paton, Denver Broncos General Manager to induct the late Demaryius Thomas as the 36th member in the Denver Broncos Ring of Fame and to have the Denver Broncos #88 jersey retired in his honor this coming season. 

The Denver Broncos Ring of Fame was created by the late Pat Bowlen to honor Denver Broncos legends that have made an indelible impact on the Denver Broncos franchise during their careers. It is evident that Demaryius Thomas did just that, and he is among the greatest players to ever play for the Denver Broncos franchise.

His career as a Denver Broncos wide receiver indeed made an everlasting impact on the Denver Broncos franchise, but his legacy and leadership span far and beyond the imaginable. Not only did he touch the lives of countless people throughout the Denver Broncos organization and the National Football League, but he touched the lives of many others, especially the youth throughout the communities of Denver, Atlanta, Houston, New York, and many other places around the nation and world. We ask that out of respect for the legacy of Demaryius Thomas and for his dedication and all that he gave of himself to the Denver Broncos franchise, that NO other Denver Broncos player shall wear the #88 jersey, and that it is retired in his honor.
