The Issue

I am a lifelong resident of Colorado who firmly believes in the sanctity of the Bill of Rights as the fundamental law that governs our land. Over the years, I have witnessed a stark decline in the quality of life here in Colorado, a state that has been subjected to an increasingly tyrannical one-party rule, orchestrated by the Democratic legislature.

The crux of my concern lies with the proposition to abolish the Colorado Taxpayer Bill of Rights (TABOR) by Sen. Sean Camacho, Sen. Lorena Garcia, Sen. Yara Zokaie, Sen. Lindsey Daugherty, and Sen. Iman Jodeh. This proposition, if enacted into law, will allow the Democratic legislature full control over the state's finances. A legislature that has displayed time and again their propensity for reckless and unconstitutional decisions that have exacerbated the deterioration of our beloved state. As residents and taxpayers, we should not be held responsible for funding initiatives that serve to further their ideological agendas, rather than the public's interests.

For over a decade, the Democrat majority legislature has been at the helm of our state, with their governing philosophy marked by decisions which are not only unconstitutional but have also adversely affected the living standards of Coloradans.

This is our urgent call to Colorado's Democrats - Sen. Sean Camacho, Sen. Lorena Garcia, Sen. Yara Zokaie, Sen. Lindsey Daugherty, & Sen. Iman Jodeh - to withdraw their support for abolishing TABOR. It's high time that the voices of Colorado's residents are heard. Sign this petition and together let's stand up for our rights as Colorado taxpayers.
