Fair And Equal Voting Abilities Without Regard To Political Affiliation

The Issue

When a primary election is held within any county in the state of Oklahoma, if all candidates are of one party affiliation, albeit Republican, Democrat or Independent, and that primary election can achieve a victor with 50% of the vote then ALL residents of that county, Republican, Democrat or Independent should be allowed to vote in that primary. We live in rural counties, and for all party affiliations being allowed to select their next sheriff would be most beneficial to the communities they serve. When 50% of the population is left out of the election process, the people are not truly represented.
