please help save the “WILD” from abuse in Denmark’s ZOOs.
Il problema
We are asking Your Royal Highness, Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, to help us stop breeding and killing surplus animals in the ZOOs of Denmark.
We demand the immediate dismissal of Mr. Bengt Holst, Scientific Director of Copenhagen Zoo and a total overhaul of all wildlife establishments/enclosures’ rules, which allow purposeful breeding of surplus animals and then disposing of them at will, when they no longer serve the establishments’ interests.
We demand that wild animals enclosed inside such establishments are kept and treated with respect, without the abuse, that the establishments claim to have saved them from, and not to be regarded as “business commodities”.
We also demand that all efforts should be put into conserving wild animals’ natural habitat first and foremost!
We ask Denmark to lead the way and be the example for the whole world to follow in this respect.
