3G pitch for Prestatyn & Rhyl

Due to British weather and Growing numbers of Children and Adults wanting to play sports all year around the council owned pitches are in a shocking state and are unplayable most weeks through winter. Our closest 3G facility is in st Asaph and corwen making it difficult for people to get to who don’t drive, This is a huge shame as this much needed facility would be used by clubs, schools and local people all year around and I'm certain the cost of this would be repaid in less than 10 years due to the number of clubs that require it. I believe Denbighshire county council should be investing in the future of our children and a 3G pitch would enable them to play sport throughout the whole year, keeping them active, fit and healthy also reducing anti social behaviour and giving both kids and adults more focus.
