Mein Name ist Antonia Capon, ich bin Pädagogin i.R. Eine Postkarte mit dem Text "Ich schweige, aber was ich denke, ist grausam", hat mich angeregt, diese Petition zu starten.

Hier mein verkürzter Brief an Putin (das Original wurde auf RePddit veröffentlicht).

Nicht geehrter Herr Präsident Putin!
Lieber Wladimir!

Rette Deine Seele!
Besiege Dein Ego, nicht die Ukraine!
Gewinne Deine Würde zurück!
STOP THE WAR NOW!

Behüte Dein wunderbares Volk, statt es in den Tod oder ins Ausland zu "schicken".
Wir lesen heute, nach 2000 Jahren, noch von Apostel Paulus, der als Saulus vom Pferd fiel und als Erleuchteter erwachte. Aus dem Tyrannen war ein Botschafter des Friedens geworden. 
Ich bin mir sicher, dass man in weiteren 2000 Jahren auch noch von Wladimir Putin reden wird, der sich im Jahr 2024 bewusst von einem Saulus in einen Paulus transformierte, ohne vom Pferd gefallen zu sein.

Ich hoffe, Dir hilft zu Deiner Transformation die Zustimmung zahlloser Leser dieses Briefes zu folgendem Text:

Ich werde mich in Den Haag für eine Begnadigung einsetzen, sobald du, Wladimir, einsichtig geworden bist und den sinnlosen, grausamen Krieg noch in diesem Jahr beendet hast und die Autorität der ganzen Ukraine anerkennst!

Wir retten zahllose Leben und Unmengen an Geld, das wir für den Klimaschutz - auch für Russland und Kasachstan! - einsetzen werden können.

Liebevolle Grüße an Deine verwaiste Seele und an den Präsidenten Wladimir Putin.

My name is Antonia Capon, I am a retired teacher. A postcard with the text "I am silent, but what I think is cruel" inspired me to start this petition.

Here is my shortened letter to Putin (the original was published on Reddit).

Not dear Mr. President Putin!
Dear Vladimir!

Save your soul!
Defeat your ego, not Ukraine!
Regain your dignity!
STOP THE WAR NOW!

Protect your wonderful people instead of “sending” them to death or abroad.
Today, after 2000 years, we still read about the Apostle Paul, who fell from his horse as Saul and woke up as an enlightened one. The tyrant had become an ambassador of peace.
I am sure that in another 2,000 years people will still be talking about Vladimir Putin, who consciously transformed himself from Saul to Paul in 2024 without falling off his horse.

I hope that the agreement of countless readers of this letter to the following text will help you in your transformation:

I will campaign for a pardon in  Den Haag as soon as you, Vladimir, come to your senses and end the senseless, cruel war this year and recognize the authority of the whole of Ukraine!

We save countless lives and tons of money that we spend on climate protection - including Russia and Kazakhstan! - can be used.

Loving greetings to your orphaned soul and to President Vladimir Putin.
