Enough is enough! The residents of Little Walnut Road and Zig Zag Drive have suffered for far too long living next to the deplorable apartment building and the two rental houses owned by slumlords and millionaires Richard and Peggy Bigham. Our once peaceful community has turned into an absolute hell hole, plagued by violence, theft, drug use, and now even gunfire. On May 8th, shots rang out from the white apartment building on Zig Zag Drive, with bullets that could have easily killed an innocent bystander. This is UNACCEPTABLE. We should feel safe in our own homes, but that basic right has been completely stripped away by the rampant crime and disturbances emanating from the Bigham drug houses at all hours of the day and night. Loud music blares incessantly, fights break out constantly, drug dealers peddle their poison openly, and used heroin needles litter the ground where our children play. One of the families in this community even experienced the horror of a home invasion from one of the tenants of the apartment building, Chauvin Knight, who is now serving his prison sentence. Knight already had a previous attempted murder charge. We’re talking about serious crimes and there is never a moment's peace because of these properties. The buildings are dilapidated, and have become a magnet for the very worst elements - and now, armed gunmen who have absolutely no qualms about opening fire and endangering the lives of everyone around them. It is an absolute miracle that an innocent bystander wasn't killed by their reckless shooting on May 8th.

For DECADES, we have pleaded with Walnut Township to put an end to this nuisance, but our cries for help have fallen on deaf ears as Richard and Peggy Bigham continues with business as usual in his crumbling, trash-strewn buildings. This cannot continue! As law-abiding citizens and tax payers, we DEMAND that Walnut Township and Pickaway County take immediate action by declaring the Bigham properties a public nuisance under Ohio revised code 505.87, 3767.41 declaring the Bigham properties on Little Walnut and Zig Zag Drive public nuisances! Tear them down once and for all. Our community deserves better, and we will not rest until you restore the safety and peace of mind we are entitled to! If you refuse, it’s clearly time for new leadership!

We, the citizens of this community, are sick and tired of living in fear! We demand better than this!
