Ted Cruz is too far-right and too purist of a conservative to be re-elected for the following reasons:

1. Ted Cruz wanted all of Obamacare repealed, but John McCain and the GAO warned that repealing all of Obamacare would leave millions of elderly people in the US uninsured.

2. When Barack Obama normalized relations with Cuba, Ted Cruz called the removal of Cuba from the terror sponsors list an act of forgiving Fidel Castro for his failed attempts to export communism to the Western Hemisphere and a form of appeasement, when in fact it was a long-overdue rectification of a Cold War relic.

3. Ted Cruz supported the economically and physically unfeasible border wall with Mexico, wrongly likening it to fighting slavery.
