It is really important to see much support and anger pouring in after MCC's leaders and planners latest "sleight of hand" for the Gay Village Where LGBTQ not mentioned in the planning application, implying yet more active hostility against the community. We must impede the appalling processes to take over the area with dire Blanditecture. The opposition Manchester City Centre Focus has written a vital template, where we hope Piccadilly Labour will mirror the calls to demand: * The SRF and this planning application are scrapped * Investigation into why despite 11,200 signature petition about SRF has not led to any changes in approach, despite Leeses "promises" and incompetent Karneys abusive reaction * Why exact same images in SRF are used in the Planning Application, which must have been prepared BEFORE consultation with MCC enabling * Why MCC only sent out 350 letters to "inform" residents, despite businesses saying not received this during the election period, where this was hidden, after the promises all was on hold until SRF accepted. This response, written by a legal expert, raises more disturbing questions about the "Portland Village" fiasco and how our city is "lead". Please read and object urgently by Thursday, though many are demanding this whole process is scrapped with the investigation.
