Object to this misery "Portland Street Village" Hotel Somehow, missed this planning application for Portland Street, even though registered on that appalling system. Demolishing a 1960s building that could have been refurbished for this? What a dire and soulless design, AGAIN! The whole Portland Village fiasco and not a damned change or even an attempt for better. Appalling city planning. And forced on to the planning portal on the lead up to that local election! OBJECT to this substandard architectural and drab soulless rubbish slab architecture here! There has been no effort to change or improve the design. As usual, we doubt we are the only people who did not know this planning application was in. Manchester City Council has refused to acknowledge the receipt of this petition or the report we wrote.
