We will start with a rally at 4:30, bring signs and we will stand outside City Hall together!

Press will be there to cover our MASSIVE ACTION! We will speak to the press and then invite press to follow us all into the council meeting at 5:00 to speak during the public comment period, presenting our petition and 5,000+ signatures.

Let’s wear some red = STOP

Let’s bring signs demanding our health and safety be prioritized… include direct actions like “STOP RESYNERGI’s PERMITTING!” on our signs/in our public comments. 

We will only be able to speak during the public comment period, which is only ½ hour long (3 minutes per person). Please do prepare a public comment, but please be prepared to not get to speak… THIS TIME…. We will be together every 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at RP City Council meetings until Resynergi’s permitting is stopped!

Let’s STOP this petrochemical incinerator’s toxic, hazardous, petroleum product + waste operations from exhausting in our City! Resynergi's is a petroleum processing operation and these operations are completely dangerous. All plastic/petroleum is highly flammable and the reactors used to microwave the plastics are explosion hazards! Petrochemical incinerators like this are 100% toxic and exhaust their waste products (lead, arsenic, cadmium to name only a few) into our air every moment it is operating. Resynergi is ready to run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 350 days a year to process 5 tons of plastic daily- 500 feet from a high school, 200 feet from businesses and within 2,000 feet from hundreds of homes, thousands of people. WE SAY NO!
