The Issue

RATH (Residents Against Terrible Housing) is demanding immediate action on 3607 Randolph Rd. in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. This house is an eyesore and a safety hazard. It appears to have already been gutted on the inside. You can walk around the back and find the back door is wide open. Children could go in and get hurt! The Randolph neighbors are sick of looking at it and deserve better. To make matters worse this house is owned by the City!

The City's process to handle vacant and neglected houses is way too slow. We're looking to accelerate it while still giving homeowners a proper amount of time to resolve violations.

The problem is the City can take years to address vacant and neglected homes while they prioritize POS inspections. Housing has NOT been a priority for the City and we are demanding that it is.

We're no longer waiting and we're certainly not asking.

Signing this petition is one way to not just support immediate action on this house, but every other house that is a blight on our beautiful city.
