DEMANDING CASTRATION OF ALL SEX OFFENDERS/RAPISTS, PAEDOPHILES/CHILD MOLESTERS

DEMANDING CASTRATION OF ALL SEX OFFENDERS/RAPISTS, PAEDOPHILES/CHILD MOLESTERS
The Issue
In the United States, on average, a women is raped every 2 minutes. It is estimated that 652,676 women were raped in the US in 2018. One in five women in the United States experienced completed or attempted rape during their lifetime. 22% of rape victims were younger than 12 when they were first raped. 32% were between 12 and 17. The majority knew their rapists. Among developmentally disabled women, as many as 83% are the victims of sexual assault. Women with disabilities are raped at a rate at least twice that of the general population.
94% of women who are raped experience symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) during the two weeks following rape. 30% of women report symptoms of PTSD 9 months after rape. 33% of women who are raped contemplate suicide. 13% of women raped attempt suicide. Approximately 70% of rape or sexual assault victims experience moderate to severe distress, a larger percentage than for any other violent crime.
The national rape-related pregnancy rate is 5% per rape among victims of reproductive age (12 - 45); among adult women an estimated 32,101 result from rape each year. Only 11.7% of these victims receive immediate medical attention after the assault and 47.1% received no medical attention related to the rape. 32.4% of these victims did not discover they were pregnant until they had entered into their 2nd trimester; 32.2% opted to keep the infant whereas 50% underwent abortion and 5.9% placed the infant for adoption; an additional 11.8% had spontaneous abortion (miscarriage).
Rape-related pregnancy occurs with significant frequency. It is the cause of many unwanted pregnancies and is closely linked with family domestic violence. As we address the epidemic of unintended pregnancies in the United States, greater attention and effort should be aimed at preventing unwanted pregnancies that result from sexual victimization.
The prevalence of false reporting for sexual assault crimes is low, only 2 - 10 percent.
At this time, when so many females have no rights to their own reproductive choices, I believe we have an immediate obligation to impose mandatory castration laws for sexual rapist and child molesters. Please consider signing this petition so we can help put a stop to the suffering.
Thank you
