Last night's fashion event at Gulmarg is very disturbing and mentally exhausting, seeing it coming from a land of Sufis and Muslim majority state. 

It is not only culturally, morally, or socially wrong, but on top of everything, it is Islamically unacceptable and needs to be addressed. We cannot allow these events to infiltrate our society and undermine our religious values. 

Those who call themselves "liberals" have basically liberated themselves from their Deen, and those whose hearts trembled last night from the fear of Allah are the actual revolutionists. Be it any month of the year, such events will never be tolerated.

We firmly demand an immediate ban on all such events that are deemed immoral and un-Islamic in Kashmir, as it is essential to uphold and protect our cultural and religious values.
