A deeply disturbing incident occurred on April 24, 2025, that has forced me and countless others to confront the harsh reality of child abuse and neglect within educational institutions. A 4-year-old child from DPS Nerul was victimized, leading to the arrest of a school bus driver on grave charges, including violations under the POCSO Act (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences). This was a nightmarish situation for any parent or guardian.

Rather than responding with urgency, compassion, and care, the school principal exhibited an alarmingly casual and indifferent attitude nd laughing in rhis situation. His immediate response  to parent was the child is imagining this situation.. Such inappropriate behavior in the face of serious allegations is unacceptable.Our children's safety is not a matter of jest. The lack of sensitivity towards such a serious matter is a mark of disrespect towards the affected child, their pain and our collective fears as parents.

Children are the future of our society but presently in India a large number of children including infants were abused and raped. They should feel safe in learning environments dedicated to nurturing their potential, yet we find ourselves in a situation that demonstrates a pain-staking opposite. 

We must rise against such negligence and create a paradigm shift in the way schools respond to and protect against child abuse. We demand that DPS Nerul, and indeed all schools, enforce a zero-tolerance policy for child abuse – ensuring the safety of our children should always be the top priority. So we want justice for our kid and immediate change of the principal of Dps Navi Mumbai.

He is having a very bad background in the previous school, Dps , Bulandshahr with too many  allegations and police cases, When he joined Dps Navi Mumbai in 2023 same happened here , all the local and national news have covered this , ( can search in google regarding this,) but due to some higher authority support or something nothing happened.
