As a committed social media Upstander, I have been contacted by over 50+ victims and survivors of D.O.A, also known as Scott Hochstetter. He is known for committing hate crimes and violent acts of harassment, Hochstetter continues to stalk and harass content creators using YouTube as his platform for terror. After being banned from YouTube on 11/01/2022, he immediately evaded this rightful termination and started a new account on 11/02/2022. His hurtful actions continue, creating a toxic environment for creators and users alike.

D.O.A. has led a trail of victims in his wake, with restraining orders against him for stalking content creators. He is currently facing a staggering 16 counts of hate crimes and has oscillated in and out of jail over the past two years for these violent offenses.

The evasion of account termination makes a mockery of the guidelines and Terms of Service (TOS) set in place for the safety of users. This sets a concerning precedent, where users banned for valid reasons can easily circumvent these rules and continue their harmful behavior. It's high time we demand more rigorous ban enforcement from YouTube to safeguard creators and users from online harassment and hate crimes.

In urging YouTube to take determined actions against D.O.A.'s continued use of their platform, we can create a safer, more inclusive environment for creators.
