As a personal user of a Xiaomi phone, I, like thousands of others, feel that we are not getting the most out of our devices due to the separation of China HyperOS and Global HyperOS (ROMs). This has resulted in an inferior user experience for global customers. Currently, Xiaomi is investing in separate software developers for the China and Global audience, which not only leads to inefficiency but also a knowledge gap in terms of user preferences and usability.

Xiaomi could improve this situation dramatically by merging the China and Global software. With this, they could establish a logcat control and correction team. This team could then use the funds currently wasted on duplicate efforts to further improve our experiences.

Furthermore, Global users are often left with no choice but to use Google service impositions like Gemini AI, Google Phone etc. However, many of us are interested in Xiaomi's own ecosystem and AI tools that are developed and available in China. Access to these features globally should be made as soon as possible.

Given that Xiaomi is among the top 3 smart phone manufacturers globally, supplying to millions of users should not be contributing to subpar experiences. This change will ensure better usability and appreciation of Xiaomi products on a worldwide scale.
