Demand World Leaders to Recognize and Enforce Women's Rights

The Issue

As a woman, I have experienced the full spectrum of emotions, from power to despair. Life as a woman is uniquely wonderful. Yet, it is also fraught with injustices and challenges that we are expected to navigate and endure silently. We have had enough and are now amplifying our voices to seek the respect and recognition we deserve.

Globally, women are at the forefront of many struggles. The United Nations reports that women only hold 24.3% of parliamentary seats worldwide, a reflection of the gross power imbalance that persists today. Furthermore, the World Economic Forum asserts that we remain a staggering 257 years away from gender economic parity (World Economic Forum, Gender Gap Report 2020).

In response to this, we have decided to exercise our power by refusing to have children until our rights are recognised and respected. This is our peaceful, but powerful, means of protest.

Our demand is simple and fair: world leaders must acknowledge and enforce women's rights. This cannot be ignored any longer. Women's rights are human rights and it is high time this becomes more than just a rhetoric. It is time for decisive action.

Join us in sending this message loud and clear to our world leaders. Equality is not a privilege, it is a right. Sign our petition and help make our voices heard. Your sign could make the difference.
