Demand Wise to Stop Illegally Withholding and Restricting Customer's Funds

The Issue

After devoting countless hours just to comply with Wise's demands, my father and I found ourselves in an unimaginable situation. Despite providing all the necessary paperwork, our incoming funds, vital for our daily survival, were held at bay, prevented from entering our accounts. This stranglehold on our finance led to an abrupt closure of our accounts. No terms and conditions were infringed upon, no notice was given and no reason was given for the ultimate closure of my account and for my father’s money to still be frozen and unable to be used.  Our family has had to resort to depend on credit cards in order to survive day to day.  Just like us, many others are facing similar challenges, experiencing unprecedented financial hindrances and mental distress due to the unjust practices of Wise.

It's time to take a stand against these debilitating practices. By restricting legally earned money even after customers have complied with the requested processes, Wise is skewing the fundamental rights of its customers. Holding on to customer's money unlawfully and closing accounts out of the blue, without any violation of Terms and Conditions, are clear signs of unethical conduct. These practices are causing immeasurable financial issues for affected individuals and triggering undue mental and emotional stress.

In a world where banking transparency, accountability, and respect for customer rights should be the pillars of every banking and financial service, Wise’s practices are an anathema. We urge the relevant financial regulatory body to look into these misgivings and bring Wise to account for its practices. Stand with us and countless others who are suffering from Wise's unjust practices by signing this petition. Your support can drive change and stop these exploitative practices. Together, we can protect the rights of all Wise customers and hold the company accountable for its unjust actions. Please, sign this petition today.
