Demand Western Leaders Reject Public Land Sell-Off

Demand Western Leaders Reject Public Land Sell-Off
The Issue
I’m a multi-generational Idaho native. I grew up on public land—land that built the West. Now "The Big Beautiful Bill" threatens to sell off this heritage to speculators and developers. HELL NO! This isn’t budget reform—it’s theft. Our public lands, our distinctive landscapes, and our cherished memories are at stake.
This land shaped not only my childhood but the very identity of the West. The hiking trails, the pristine rivers, the vast spaces where families gather, hunters track, and children learn about nature's majesty—they reflect the freedom and spirit of the region. Selling these lands for short-term financial gain endangers future generations' access to one of our nation's greatest treasures.
"The Big Beautiful Bill" is being positioned as a solution for economic woes, yet it would strip away public lands for profit, sacrificing long-term ecological and community benefits. These lands belong to all of us—they are not bargaining chips for political games or tools to fill budget gaps.
The people of Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, and California stand united. We demand our senators and governors protect our public lands fiercely and refuse to consent to this sell-off. You work for us, the people, and we're louder than any lobbyist or developer.
The beauty of the West, the purity of its air, and the adventures calling our names are not for sale. We will not forget, and we will not be silent. Join us to protect our heritage and reject this portion of "The Big Beautiful Bill." Sign this petition and help us keep public lands in public hands. #NoLandSale #KeepItPublic
