We, EU citizens, demand the immediate resignation of Ursula von der Leyen as President of the European Commission. Democracy means leaders serve the people, yet von der Leyen ignores widespread public discontent, undermining the EU’s core values of transparency and accountability.

Her leadership fails us:

• Her lack of transparency in COVID-19 vaccine deals, exposed by a 2025 European Court ruling, caused delays and eroded trust.
• Weak climate policies fall short of EU 2030 targets, favoring corporate interests over people and planet. 
• Despite thousands signing petitions against her, she was re-elected in July 2024 by a disconnected elite, deepening the EU’s democratic deficit. 

We demand:

• Ursula von der Leyen’s resignation.
• EU leadership that listens to citizens.
