The Issue

The UK government is currently deciding whether to join a US- and Israeli-led war against Iran — an illegal and reckless act of aggression that risks igniting further chaos in an already volatile region. This petition demands the UK reject any involvement in a war that would violate international law and repeat the disastrous mistakes of Iraq.

The Iraq War was based on lies, causing mass death, instability, and terrorism — yet no one has been held accountable. Now, the same baseless claims about Iran’s nuclear threat are being recycled despite  evidence from the IAEA showing no urgent danger.

This isn’t about defence; it’s about blindly following dangerous imperial agendas that will only escalate violence and insecurity, making all of us less safe. The UK must refuse to be complicit in another illegal war and uphold justice, international law, and political accountability.
We call on citizens to unite and demand our leaders prioritise peace over reckless aggression.

Sign this petition to urge the UK government to remain uninvolved in any offensive actions against Iran and to prioritize peace and safety over needless aggression.
