Good evening lido Legends

Stroud Lido campaigners are asking supporters to join us at 6.30pm this Thursday 19th at the District Council (Ebley Mill, Westward Rd, GL5 4UB - where councillors are meeting to vote on the proposal to close Stroud’s Lido / outdoor pool. We think the reports and calculations are flawed and we are asking for the councillors to reject the proposal, redo the figures, run a consultation, and do the minimum work needed to keep the lido open this summer, even as we start to also plan ahead. Please come and join us outside the council at 6.30 and bring your placards - there is also a public gallery for those who want to go inside at 7 though capacity is limited. 

Note - we know this is short notice - there will be a further meeting in April, with another chance to make our feelings known - but this first vote is important so do join us  if you can!
