We are Tigrayans and Tigrayan allies, and Tigrayans have been targeted in a genocide. Among us was Samson Teklemichael, who was abducted by Kenyan police in 2021. This was done in broad daylight and there are multiple videos of the incident. His current whereabouts are unknown and his wife has never heard any updates about his condition. This extrajudicial capture is not just an isolated case but reflects the broader issue of human rights violations that our community faces.

We demand answers about his abduction - where he is now, what happened to him after he was taken into custody, and why he was targeted in the first place.

Samson was a family man. He has 3 children. His eldest is 16 and losing faith she will ever see her father again. Their mom has her children asking her everyday when their father will come back. Children need their father. This extrajudicial capture is a violation of his children's wellbeing.
