Every year, millions of animals are subjected to cruel tests by cosmetic brands worldwide. In the U.S alone, it is estimated that over 100 million animals are tested on annually (source: PETA). This includes rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats and mice. These tests often involve causing pain and suffering to these innocent creatures. 

In New York City, a hub for fashion and beauty industries, we have the power to influence these brands by demanding transparency about their animal testing practices. By doing so, we can make informed choices about the products we purchase and support.

We call upon all major cosmetic brands operating in New York City to publicly disclose their animal testing practices. We also urge our local government officials to enforce stricter regulations against animal testing in our city.
