Many of us chose Palm Coast because it offers responsible growth while preserving the character that makes our city unique.
The proposed DC BLOX Data Center would introduce large-scale industrial infrastructure into the heart of our community. While some see economic opportunity, many residents believe this project is not the right fit for Palm Coast or for the vision of our Town Center.
As a local business owner who depends on reliable access to water, I am concerned about the long-term impacts this type of development could have on our community. Large data centers can require substantial amounts of water and electricity, operate around the clock, generate noise from cooling equipment, increase nighttime lighting, and replace green space. Before a project of this scale moves forward, residents deserve clear information about its expected impacts and how they will be managed.
Palm Coast Town Center was envisioned as the heart of our community—a place for families, local businesses, recreation, and thoughtful development. Many residents do not believe a large industrial data center reflects that vision.
This petition is not about opposing technology or economic growth. It is about ensuring that growth is appropriate for our community. We believe Palm Coast can attract new businesses and create jobs while protecting the qualities that make our city a wonderful place to live.

Every resident should have the opportunity to understand both the potential benefits and the potential impacts before supporting a project of this size.
