Over 2,000 signatures already! Thank you

Today was the State Opening of Parliament and I had the huge honour to be in the Palace of Westminster.

The day was full of constitutional ceremony and is a day that I will always remember. 

The police horses and the military horses are always the highlight for me at any State occasion, along with the carriages and the music. 

Whilst surrounded by the history and the pageantry, I took a quiet moment to think of Finn. Why? Because despite the amazingness of today, I recalled with a smile the day when Finn was in the gallery and he barked when his Bill became law. He barked and their Lordships all laughed and looked up to the gallery at Finn. Today, I recalled that moment (whilst surrounded by their Lordships who were mingling after the ceremony) and I could hear Finn bark that famous bark. 

Today was therefore a very poignant day.

And whilst all of the above was happening (with minimal access to use my phone) the petition to help #FindHero has grown to over 2,000 signatures.

Thank you to each and every person!

We want to know if Hero is alive and well.

We want to know if she has been retired.

We realise that this is a potentially sensitive situation but if Hero has been re-homed then the ‘situation’ should not have happened because Hero should have been kept in kennels pending the outcome of the investigation.
