We are a group of students at Georgia Tech that are very concerned about the lack of regulation in data collection and sharing practices at a local, national, and international level.

As we increasingly move into a digital age, individuals' personal data have become a commodity. Many are exploited due to a lack of knowledge and concern about privacy. The staggering truth is that more than 67% of adults understand little to nothing of what companies do with their personal information (Pew Research Center).

Our goal is to promote awareness and bring about legislative change to limit the dangerous impacts of identifiable data collection and redistribution. We seek transparency and control over personal data collected by corporations and third parties. Let's stand up against the unregulated practice of data collection and exploitation.
