The intersection of US-431 and AL-165 has become one of the most dangerous points of frustration in Phenix City. Despite clear signage, drivers daily perform illegal turns and maneuvers that endanger our families and commuters.

The Problem:

Constant illegal left and U-turns that ignore right-of-way.
Increased risk to pedestrians, other drivers, and local shoppers.
Severe traffic congestion caused by law-breaking drivers.
Our Goal: We are petitioning the City of Phenix City and the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) to implement a permanent solution. We are requesting the installation of automated enforcement cameras and physical traffic delineators (Traffic Poles) to ensure that 'rules of the road' are actually followed.
