Demand to the European Parliament: Expel Iranian Representatives

Demand to the European Parliament: Expel Iranian Representatives
Das Problem
Human rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran are being severely and systematically violated. No government is justified in responding with such brutality to peaceful demonstrations. The gravity of the situation in Iran demands a clear, firm, and decisive response from international institutions and governments, particularly from the European Union.
We therefore call upon the European Parliament to expel all representatives of the Iranian government, including ambassadors and other diplomatic personnel, from all member states of the European Union. This measure is intended to serve as a strong and unequivocal expression of the European Union’s protest against the recent killings of civilians by the Iranian regime and to reaffirm the EU’s solidarity with human rights defenders and the Iranian people.
According to credible reports from international human rights organizations, numerous individuals have been killed, injured, or arbitrarily detained during the recent protests in Iran. This disproportionate and excessive use of force constitutes a clear violation of fundamental human rights and stands in direct contradiction to the principles of human rights, democracy, and the rule of law that the European Union is committed to uphold.
The expulsion of Iranian diplomatic representatives would represent an effective and meaningful measure to increase pressure on the Iranian regime and to support the protection of human rights in Iran. It is imperative that the European Union demonstrates, through concrete actions and not merely through statements, that it stands firmly on the side of freedom, justice, and human dignity.
We urge all supporters to sign this petition and to join us in calling upon the European Parliament to take decisive action and send a clear and unmistakable message to the Iranian authorities and to the international community. Together, we can raise awareness and advocate for the protection and promotion of human rights.
