This issue isn’t isolated; many others have experienced similar unjust bans and faced the same frustrating, unyielding AI responses. It's time to say 'enough is enough.' Our hard work, creativity, and communities should not be at the mercy of an impersonal algorithm that cannot understand context or rectify human errors.

TikTok reached over 1 billion active users in 2021 and continues to grow as a hub for creativity, expression, and even income for many users. The reliance on AI support systems undermines this community by failing to provide the necessary human judgment and empathy often required to resolve disputes or misunderstandings. The current AI system lacks the nuanced decision-making capabilities that are essential in customer support, often leading to unnecessary misunderstandings, unresolved issues, and users being left in the lurch with little recourse.

Artificial Intelligence has no place in this world, much less in support roles that require understanding and empathy. Platforms like TikTok, where accounts are banned without clear reason and appeals met with robotic replies, need a human-centric approach. Implementing human-led support can ensure more accurate resolutions, foster trust, and avoid the undue emotional and financial stress these errors cause.

A transition back to human-driven support is a feasible and necessary step for TikTok. This change would not only enhance user satisfaction but also uphold justice and transparency within the platform. No "hybrid models", no compromises, no AI.
