Floyd Elmore, a caring and loved member of our community, was tragically taken from us in a brutal and untimely manner. On October 2, 2024, Floyd was shot multiple times through his living room window while enjoying an ordinary evening with his fiancée. Despite his home being equipped with security cameras, and having potential suspects in question, his case has yet to be resolved. 

Floyd, who had grown from boy to man in front of our eyes, was a beacon of generosity and empathy, always ready to extend a helping hand to those he cherished. His sudden, ruthless death not only broke hearts of those close to him, but also sent shockwaves throughout our community. Those who knew Floyd understand that he'd always go the extra mile for others and his absence leaves a void that cannot be filled.

We can't change the past or bring Floyd back, but we can demand justice. Justice is the least he deserves, and the bare minimum for his loved ones to find a semblance of peace. We urge those involved and in charge of Floyd's case to dig a little deeper, utilize all available evidence, and leave no stone unturned in seeking the truth.
