In an outrageous act of power abuse, Former Governor of Rivers State Barr. Ezebunwo Nyesom Wike, now FCT Minister, unconstitutionally orchestrated the suspension of Governor Sir, Amaopusenibo Siminalayi Fubara for six months. Wike claimed to have single-handedly made Fubara the Governor of Rivers State in YouTube videos, thus asserting his personal authority over him. This blatant disregard for democratic principles has led to various oppressive measures against Fubara, involving key political and judicial bodies in Nigeria. 

These injustices include interference from the Presidency, Judiciary, Legislature, and Law Enforcement Agencies since he assumed governorship. Currently, Fubara is enduring an unlawful suspension ordered by President Tinubu; a clear abuse of power that completely disregards Nigeria's constitution.

This petition seeks justice for Sir Siminalayi Fubara, Rivers People and All well meaning Nigerians whose authority has been undermined to serve personal interests. Our objective is to demand the reinstatement of the embattled governor and restore constitutional order in Rivers State. We insist that leadership should not be a tool of oppression, but should uphold good governance that respect democracy, human rights, and constitutional mandates. The treatment of Sir Fubara and Rivers people is a blatant abuse of power and must be addressed.
