Demand the Transfer of Kyron Horman's Disappearance Case to the Oregon State Police

Demand the Transfer of Kyron Horman's Disappearance Case to the Oregon State Police
The Issue
Kyron Horman, a 7-year-old boy who disappeared from Skyline Elementary School, has been missing since June 4, 2010. This case is deeply personal and it has left a profound impact on his community. Despite numerous efforts and investigations over the past 14 years, no significant progress has been made in finding him or bringing his perpetrator(s) to justice.
The current handling of this case by local authorities seems insufficient. Therefore, we are urging Oregon Governor Tina Kotek to transfer the oversight of Kyron Horman's case from local police to the Oregon State Police. The State Police have more resources at their disposal and a wider jurisdiction which could potentially lead to breakthroughs in this long-standing case.
According to National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), approximately 800,000 children are reported missing each year in the United States - that's roughly 2,000 per day (NCMEC). Each one of these cases deserves thorough investigation and resolution; Kyron’s case is no exception.
We believe that transferring this case will provide new perspectives and renewed energy into solving it. It is our hope that with this change comes answers for all those who have been waiting for 14 years now.
Please sign this petition if you agree that it's time for new eyes on Kyron Horman's unsolved disappearance. Let us bring closure for his family and justice for Kyron.
Thank you all for supporting the quest to Bring Kyron Horman Home!!
