As an ardent fan and follower of the Bridgerton series, it's disheartening to witness the blatant changes made to the story switching from its original trail in the book, "When He Was Wicked".

Francesca Bridgerton's journey is poignantly explored in the book where she grapples with infertility, the loss of her love John Sterling, rediscovering love with his cousin Michael Sterling, eventually leading her to becoming a mother to John and Janet Sterling. However, Jess Brownell's version completely erases these pivotal characters, redefining Francesca's life path which is a clear disregard for the original plotline.

To a viewer, it feels as though Jess Brownell does not respect, nor understand the depth and gravity of themes like infertility and emotional loss, which are major pillars of Francesca's tale. This lack of empathy and commitment towards the original text is too glaring to overlook.

It is, therefore, crucial to replace Jess Brownell with a more understanding and respectably considerate scriptwriter who can do justice to the original plotlines and the characters' journeys. We want Bridgerton to continue to captivate its audience and resonate deeply within its fans.

Let us unite to demand a change in the writing position of Bridgerton for the love of the series and out of respect for the original plotline. We owe this to Bridgerton and its innumerable fans who deserve better representation of an adored book series. Sign this petition!
