My fellow citizens, each one of us has felt the prick of picking up after a bureaucratic blunder and for many in our community, that blunder takes the shape of a corrupt code enforcement officer, Dave Cannon. He is synonymous with harassment and this needs to stop. Every individual deserves to live free from such constant irritation and fear in their everyday life.

His attitude has led to countless unwarranted code enforcement cases, with residents left helpless in the wake of his misused power. Unfortunately, it is hard to present exact statistics as the manipulation and exploitation of power often slide underneath the perceptible surface of legality. The true damage lies in the demoralizing feeling that festers in our community due to the consistent presence of such intrusive authority figure.

Consider this an appeal, rather a plea, for necessary change. Rally behind this cause and demand that Dave Cannon is held accountable for his actions. Agree with us that it's high time for his termination from the position of code enforcement officer. Let's nurture an atmosphere of constructive collaboration and cooperation in our community, instead of harboring fear and mistrust.
