Horse Plus Humane Society has announced that at least 30 equines at the Cookeville, Tennessee auction tonight, August 29, 2023, at Wilson Horse and Mule, need euthanasia. Where are these horses coming from? Where is the Tennessee, Department of Agriculture? A mass killing event?

Demand the State of Tennessee investigate where these animals are coming from, and any form of collusion between traders and Horse Plus Humane Society. Its barbaric to think that every month, equines are pushed, pulled and dragged to Cookeville, so that Horse Plus Humane Society can exploit their condition. These animals are not fit for slaughter, yet Horse Plus Humane Society is telling donors that kill buyers will bid on them. This is so far from the truth. Kill buyers do not want animals in such bad shape, they need euthanized, 

Demand the State of Tennessee, Division of Charitable Solicitations and the Tennessee Attorney General investigate the actions of Horse Plus Humane Society.. Demand the Tennessee State Attorney General investigate as to why the Department of Agriculture, is never around when Horse Plus Humane Society attends. Where are the citations for animals arriving in deplorable and critical condition? 

Horse Plus Humane Society has created a market by soliciting for the animals in the worst conditions to be brought to them when they attend Wilson's Horse and Mule. Horse Plus Humane Society will pocket thousands of dollars of donations, only to euthanize them. It happens month after month. It MUST END.

If this statement Horse Plus Humane Society has made is untrue, this is fraudulent soliciting. If it's true, Horse Plus Humane Society, as a certified animal control facility, should be reporting these animals being brought in such terrible conditions. However, they never do. Not one single time has Horse Plus Humane Society filed a complaint against the conditions in which animals are arriving or hold anyone accountable. It's a win-win for traders that bring them these animals monthly, and Horse Plus who will pocket surplus donations from simply killing animals. The losers are the animals that continue to suffer and languish in bad shape, just to be hauled to Cookeville, when they attend.

You should be appalled. You should demand an investigation. The animals are counting on you.
