The state of the equines at the Cookeville, Tennessee, auction tonight is atrocious. Triple W Horse and Mule, when Horse Plus Humane Society attends, is a dumping ground for the most emaciated animals around. Horse Plus Humane Society has given their "trader" friends an entire month to round up equines that can never be sold for slaughter. Yet, Horse Plus continues to tell donors that these animals will continue to brutal deaths.
Where is the USDA tonight in Cookeville, Tennessee? Where are the Tennessee, Department of Agriculture agents that should be reporting on the conditions of these animals? Demand that the on-going relationship between the State of Tennessee, Department of Agriculture, Wilson Horse and Mule/AKA Triple W Horse and Mule, and the illicit fundraising of Horse Plus Humane Society, be investigated and the public be made aware of the outcome. Why are they continuing to allow this blatant cruelty and neglect of animals, so that Horse Plus can kill most of them, pocket thousands and thousands of dollars, while claiming they are saving animals from slaughter.
Emaciated, injured, blind and sick animals are not allowed to cross the border for slaughter. Why is the State of Tennessee, Division of Charitable Solicitations and Gaming, continuing to allow these deceptive practices.
Demand justice for the animals only being used as a money "ploy" for Horse Plus and Wilson Horse and Mule.
Demand CHANGE.
Demand JUSTICE for the animals in Tennessee.
Demand that Horse Plus Humane Society and any and all affiliations with the Department of Agriculture, be investigated to the fullest. This collusion between traders, Wilson Horse and Mule and Horse Plus Humane Society needs to stop.
