Leroy Verdell Hinton callously took away the love of my life. My fiancé was unarmed and did not pose any threat when Hinton shot him seven times. Worse still, Hinton filmed this horrific act, displaying a cruel intention and disregard for human life.

Disturbingly, despite the severity and evidence of his crimes, Hinton remains free on bond, posing a genuine threat to our community's safety. According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, people charged with murder who made bail are three times more likely to commit a crime before their trial than those kept in jail (source: Bureau of Justice Statistics, 2007).

As concerned citizens, we demand the immediate revocation of Leroy Verdell Hinton's bond and his return to jail until the commencement of his murder trial. It is only fair that Hinton remains incarcerated given the gravity of his alleged offenses, particularly when he poses such a severe risk to public safety.
