My name is engraved in unpleasant memories that began in 1991, as I was wrapped up in a case at a tender age. Those memories are etched more precisely by the unprofessional acts of Detective Roger Golubski, a figure who should have upheld justice. As a survivor of a traumatic home invasion, the incident was used to be taken advantage of, rather than served with justice.

Det. Golubski served with the Wyandotte county police department for years, but it has come to light that abuse of power, and trading sexual favors for 'freedom' marked his tenure. These deplorable acts were targeted specifically on women and those in vulnerable positions. I strongly believe that the extent of Golubski's misconduct isn’t limited to my case alone but is a pattern that affected numerous others.

Inspired by my experience and those unheard—still struggling within the grip of fear and injustice—we must seek immediate action. I am calling on the Wyandotte county police department to make a transparent review of all the cases handled by Det. Roger Golubski from 1991 onward. This pivotal move should put every case under the compassionate and discerning eyes of the ROC group.

Let us shine a light on the alleged misuse and manipulation of power for years and the potential unfathomable harm it may have caused. Only through this will the victims find solace and justice, and prevent potential misuse of power in the future.
