The Talladega Sheriffs Office was made aware of a horrific animal cruelty case, with a significant amount of evidence, and a filmed confession by Jeff McArthur.  
    However, they initially refused to act on it and only recently (8/14) took out a warrant for his arrest. He is now on the run. 
 But why did it take so long? Why was Sheriff Kilgore so reluctant to proceed with issuing a warrant?  The simple answer: because he does not care and is not fit for the position of Sheriff. 
Please sign this petition to show Sheriff Kilgore that when he fails to do his job, there are consequences!  
Please contact county officials, and encourage anyone in a position of power to call for his resignation effective immediately. 
If he remains in this position it sends a clear message that these horrible crimes will be ignored and condoned.
