As a  former resident of Santa Clara, California, I am deeply concerned about the actions and behavior of Council Member Suds Jain. It is with great disappointment that I write this petition urging his immediate resignation from office.

Furthermore, Mr. Jain's vote against reappointing a popular youth coach to the Parks and Recreation Commission for political reasons is deeply troubling. Our community relies on dedicated individuals who prioritize the well-being and development of our youth. By allowing personal agendas to influence his decision-making process, Mr. Jain has shown a lack of commitment towards fostering positive growth within our city.

Additionally, it has come to light that Mr. Jain attempted to repeal the Public Records Act—a crucial piece of legislation that ensures transparency in government operations—further eroding trust between him and his constituents.

Moreover, reports indicate that he engaged in 70 secret meetings with representatives from 49ers without proper disclosure or public awareness—an action that raises concerns about potential conflicts of interest.

Equally concerning are allegations suggesting that Mr.Jain lied about his conflicts of interest while making decisions on behalf of Santa Clara residents—a clear violation not only ethically but also legally.

Lastly, it has been reported that he attacked Medi-Cal recipients—an action unbecoming for an elected official who should be advocating for the well-being and rights of all residents, especially those in vulnerable situations.

These actions by Council Member Suds Jain are unacceptable and undermine the trust we place in our elected officials. We deserve representatives who prioritize transparency, accountability, and the best interests of our community. Therefore, I urge you to sign this petition demanding the immediate resignation of Council Member Suds Jain.
