Dear Friends,

This is a message of thanks to all who have signed my petition seeking the resignation of Chris Picton as SA Health Minister following the release of confidential patient health information in pursuit of party-political gain.

My petition is now public on the Change.Org website's on Google, for other people to be able to support and sign. 

Chris Picton will not willingly resign as SA Health Minister, especially after Peter Malinauskas and SA Treasurer, Tom Koutsantonis, quickly closed ranks around Chris Picton in support of him continuing to remain as SA Health Minister. 

Four years ago, Chris Picton, Peter Malinauskas and Tom Koutsantonis were elected by the SA public to serve us, and not for us to serve them or for us to put up with their reckless disregard and indifference of our right to privacy.

With your continued support and with the support of others who are now able to sign the petition, as elected officials, Chris Picton, Peter Malinauskas and Tom Koutsantonis, may come to realise and appreciate that they serve us and that a breach of responsible service due to reckless disregard and indifference of our privacy with the publication of confidential patient information for party-political gain may result in expulsion from office.

I therefore ask if you could kindly circulate my petition to those whom you believe may feel the same way about this issue and be prepared to sign my petition in support of the resignation of Chris Picton as SA Health Minister.
