At the most recent Capo USD school board meeting, a severe breach of conduct occurred when Trustee Judy Bullockus used a racial slur. Her behavior is utterly unacceptable, particularly from someone in a position of educational influence over our children. 

Statistics from the National Bullying Prevention Center reveal that racial bullying can lead to decreased academic performance and increased depression, anxiety, and suicidal tendencies among students. No child should feel marginalized or targeted because of their racial or ethnic background, especially not within our educational institutions.

Judy Bullockus' actions set a harmful precedent and have also gained our district negative media attention, tarnishing our top-performing school district. 

The CUSD school board majority has defended Judy's behavior and ignored cries from hundreds of parents to hold a special meeting to discuss the matter. At this point, they must enforce accountability for her actions and demand an immediate resignation.
