As an animal advocate with deep concern for the welfare of our voiceless friends, I am raising this petition. The issue lies with Newton County Animal Services where Cindy Wiemann currently operates as the director. Under her leadership, an unacceptable number of animals are being euthanized, thus depriving them of their fundamental right to live. I believe, it is our duty as responsible citizens, to ensure their safety and well-being, a task that is incumbent upon their caretakers, primarily the director of the animal services department.

The need for urgent reform within Newton County Animal Services is evident. The management under Cindy Wiemann's direction is proving detrimental to the state of animal welfare in our county. Removal of Ms. Wiemann from this position, and instating a caring, humane, and responsible individual would be the first step towards achieving this goal.

The well-being of innocent animals is a pressing matter that cannot be ignored any longer. It's time we stood together demanding the replacement of Cindy Wiemann as the Director of Newton County Animal Services – because every life matters.
